Who builds it

The site is operated by Bronze Spear Capital (ABN 60 929 508 035). It is not affiliated with any law firm, university or law society.

Where the dates come from

The opening, closing and offer dates come from the official state law society clerkship schemes, including the Law Institute of Victoria, the Law Society of New South Wales and the Queensland Law Society. Six jurisdictions are covered: New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory.

Dates are re-checked against those sources each cycle, and the date of the last check sits in the footer of every page, so you can see how current the data is. Right now that is 6 August 2026.

Dates do change, and a law society can republish one after being checked. Always confirm a deadline with the firm or the law society before you rely on it. If you spot one that is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

What this site does and does not do

This site lists firms and dates, and gives you somewhere to record where each of your applications is up to. It does not give careers advice, and it does not rank firms by quality or tell you where to apply.

The tracker is free and needs no account. Creating a profile is optional and only adds state filtering and email reminders.
